Criteria:
1. Nominee must be a Chamber member.
2. Nominee must be in good standing with the Rome Floyd Chamber.
4. Nominee must be a for-profit entity.
5. Nominee must have 51 employees or more.
6. Nominee must have been in business for at least five years.
7. Must be located in Floyd County.
8. Nominee must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:
- Revenue/job growth/creation
- innovative products or services
- encourages and provides professional development of staff
- volunteers in the Rome and Floyd County Community

If a business has won this award in the last five years they are not eligible.

The Deadline for nominations is Friday, December 13, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

Criteria:
1. The Nonprofit must be a 501(c) (3) organization.
2. The Nonprofit organization must have been in operation for at least five years.
3. The Nonprofit must be located in Floyd County.
4. The Nonprofit must be a member in good standing with the Rome Floyd Chamber.
5.Nominee must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:
- Filling a need no one else is
- Doing innovative things
- Reaching a group no one else is
- Serving large groups of people
- Thinking outside the box

If a business has won this award in the last five years they are not eligible.

All nominations must be submitted by Friday, December 13, 2024 at 5:00 pm.

Nomination Form

The Rome Floyd Chamber’s Young Professional of the Year is designed to cultivate and showcase a young professional in Rome & Floyd County who has excelled in their chosen field and gives back to the Rome and Floyd Community.

Once nominations are submitted and vetted for all requirements, applications will be sent out to nominees.

Requirements:
- Young Professional must work for Chamber Member in good standing.
- Young Professional must live in the Rome & Floyd County Community as well as work in the community.
- The young professional also must be 40 or under as of January 1, 2025.
- Qualities of a nominee:
- Demonstrating a genuine passion for their chosen field.
- Engaging in community service or philanthropic activities
- Exhibiting leadership qualities, even in entry-level roles.
- Introducing creative and innovative solutions to challenges.

If a person has won the Exceptional 7 award they are not eligible for Young Professional of the Year.

If a person has won this award in the last five years they are not eligible.

If a business has won this award in the last five years they are not eligible.
